On  October 31st 2011, Childish Gambino gave a halloween performance of his newly released Camp LP. A secret show announced only hours earlier, the world was eagerly anticipated his first LP. Wearing a counselors costume Childish gave the world Camp. At times lost in his performance, the focus in his eyes was clear. When I gave him Childish the shirt backstage at Governor's Ball 2017,  he immediately recognized when it was taken and recalled the nerves that he had before the show.
